Video: Winter buoy maintenance at Kadettangen

Cautus Geo is monitoring turbidity with data buoys around a construction area at Kadettangen. The construction is continuing through the winter, thus the monitoring work and water sampling must as well! Luckily we could walk on the ice since it has been cold during the past few weeks. It actually makes it easier to work on the buoys from the ice rather than from the side of a boat.

We also needed to take water samples, which required drilling holes in the ice. This gave us the opportunity to capture some unique underwater shots on film!

In addition to the water quality monitoring, Cautus Geo is measuring settlement throughout the construction area. All of the project data are sent in real time to Cautus Web.
