The Follo Line Project- Cautus Geo is participating in Norway’s largest transportation project

Jernbaneverket is now well underway with the construction of the Follo Line railroad. The purpose of the project is to achieve greater capacity and shorter travel time on rail services between Oslo and Ski. The project includes construction of 20 km tunnel and major improvements to the rail road network towards Oslo S.

Cautus Geo is commissioned by the Italian contractor Condotte S.p.A and we have recently established a comprehensive system for monitoring deformations during construction work in the city center.

The project includes two total stations and 100 monitoring prisms mounted on the sheet pile, together with 12 SAAF 3D borehole sensors for vertical deformation monitoring up to 30 meters below ground level. All data is made available in real time through the platform Cautus Web.
